Why doesn't la Zone open in September as usually?

               After almost 15 years of existence, the structures of La zone and its ways of working are sick.

               Things like this happen, it's a kind of disease of old-aged associations.

               The sickness was there last year already, but it got more precise this year...

               This disease gets deeply on La Zone's structure and operations.

               It's so serious that it gets impossible to operate in such conditions...

               So, since it's a serious disease that we want to cure , we need some time to diagnose it right, then cure it.

               Time is essential to avoid a lethal disease...

               But as the season is coming very fast, we don't have 5 years ahead of us.

               So one of the way of doing it is to sacrifice one or two months of this season to get ready for 15 more years (or more...)

               We decided to start the season in October only, with a very light programme. We are going to programme only one gig in October. It will be promoted by la Zone and will happen only if we are ready to start again. We don't know about the band or the date yet... The interest is to show that la Zone lives on. But not to lose ourselves in action as the structure thinking process should come to an end by that time...

               About November, we can promise 2 gigs. Details about those will come later.

               Work is in progress. It began in May and is on a good way.

               Before getting on the tough part with the structure, we launched some working groups to get the building ready to start again.

               We have to fix the building (so if you are mason, plumber, electrician, glazier, ... voluntary who could help us on that issue, please call us !), decorate it (if you can paint a wall or paper it, please call!), check the P.A., renovate the kitchen, ... All things essentials and feasible now.
